The BrownRice Story

Mark Brown and Ward Rice founded BrownRice Marketing almost 20 years ago.  Life long advertising warriors, they started their careers as key players in media sales in a unique and personal market, both quickly rising to the top of a very competitive field. 

While challenged by sales, they both saw an opening for a strategic marketing leader who was focused on the success of the company vs. agency kudos.  In their position they worked with both sides, ad agencies and clients, and they heard often the challenges faced by the colliding goals. 

The ad agencies were trying to make a name for themselves by producing costly and notable creative while the clients were only interested in growing their business.  Mark and Ward knew that successful creative marketing wasn’t a matter of opinion, but instead could be proven with numbers, and decided to merge their rolodex to work with local leaders with the shared goal of making their business grow. 

 

 BrownRice Marketing has weathered many storms, literally and figuratively, and today is a lean, mean fine tuned shop.  With a master in every advertising specialty, the team is cutting edge and ahead of trends.  The client roster is long, local and filled with companies that have been around for ages, proving that the marketing is as strong as the business.  We say often and mean deeply, that our success is proven when our clients succeed.  We take great pride in the work we do, but always with our client’s goals in first place.  We are more than an advertising agency, we are a marketing partner and are proud unicorns in our field.
